We stayed for 3 nights at the Areca Lodge on Soi Diana. the hotel is set back from the main road but is quite large so cannt be easily missed.
We booked on Agoda for 3 nights for a Standard Plus room with a king sized bed costing about £50 (2100 THB) a night including breakfast.
The hotel is large with 2 outside pools set in tropical gardens.
The room was clean with a very large bed & big screen TV & even though our room was in the old wing the balcony was quite large with a chair & still room to have a couple more people standing.
The room we had a couple of years ago was in a newer wing & the balcony was tiny compared to this room.
The buffet style breakfast opens from 06:00 to 10:00 & is very good with a large selection of western & Thai dishes.
Overall we enjoyed our stay here.
